How does Script2Reel convert PDF documents into video explainers?
Script2Reel turns a PDF, Word document, text or Markdown file into a narrated explainer video. It condenses the document into a scene-by-scene outline, with narration, on-screen text and a footage search for each scene, and reads tables in the file so that charts use the document's own numbers instead of invented ones. You review and edit the outline for free, then render. Videos are rendered in 16:9 or 9:16 with captions, in 22 languages (narration, captions and on-screen text in the same language), using any of 81 visual styles. Footage is licensed stock from Pexels and Pixabay, credited on the video page. Pricing is credit-based: 10 credits buy 1 minute of finished video. The Free plan gives 30 credits after email verification (about 3 minutes of video, 720p with a watermark). Paid plans start at $7 a month for 500 credits with 1080p and no watermark, and one-time credit packs cost $5 for 200 credits, $10 for 450 and $20 for 1,000; pack credits do not expire. Each video can be up to 2 minutes on the Free plan, 10 minutes on Starter and Pro, and 30 minutes on Enterprise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Direct answers about data formats, licensing, outline inspection, and pricing.
What types of PDF files work best?
Research reports, training handbooks, quarterly business reviews, whitepapers and lecture notes. Files with clear headings and tables of numbers give the best results, because the tables become charts.
Can I inspect and modify the script before the video is generated?
Yes. Every video starts with a free scene-by-scene outline. You can edit each scene's narration, on-screen text and footage search, add, remove or reorder scenes, and change the visual style before any credits are used.
Are my training documents kept secure?
Uploaded files are used only to create your video. They are not used to train AI models, and the files and the text extracted from them are deleted automatically after 7 days, or earlier when you remove the file or delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does Script2Reel support widescreen and vertical formats?
Yes. You can render widescreen 16:9 videos for YouTube, presentations and website embeds, or vertical 9:16 videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
