Frequently asked questions
How do credits work?
Credits pay for rendering. One minute of finished video with a standard voice, charts, icons and stock images uses 10 credits, billed by the second. Each AI illustration adds 6 credits. For example: a 30-second video uses 5 credits, a 1-minute video with 3 AI illustrations uses 28, and a 3-minute video with 5 AI illustrations uses 60.
When are credits taken?
When you submit a video we reserve (hold) the credits shown in the estimate. When the video is ready we charge only for its actual length and the illustrations actually drawn, and return the rest. If a render fails, every reserved credit is returned automatically.
How do yearly plans work?
You pay once a year and save up to $134 compared with paying monthly. Your credits arrive every month of the year (for example 500 credits each month on Starter), just like a monthly plan.
Does the Free plan include AI illustrations?
Yes — one video per calendar month can use AI illustrations (up to 12 per video), paid from your 30 free credits. Free videos are exported in 720p with a small watermark. Buying any credit pack unlocks AI illustrations on every video; paid plans also remove the watermark and export in 1080p.
Can I edit a video after it's made?
Yes, on Starter and above. Open the video, choose Edit video, change any scene, layout, style, voice or music, then render a new version. It costs 30% of the usual render price for its length, plus half price for the scenes you changed; unchanged scenes reuse their voice and footage. We keep the 5 latest versions. On the Free plan you can still preview and adjust the outline before the first render, but not edit a finished video.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits reset every month: unused plan credits don't roll over, and they end when your plan ends without renewing. Top-up credits never expire, and neither do your 30 free sign-up credits. We always spend plan credits first.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes, videos made on paid plans can be used commercially, subject to our Terms of Service and the licences of any stock media included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You keep your plan until the end of the billing period. See the refund policy for details.
